Village Hall Brandeston from A12, Woodbridge

 

 

Take A12  at “Wyevale” roundabout  in Lowestoft direction – Shell Garage on left, dual carriageway with 40mph limit signs………

 

Continue on A12 to next roundabout, take first exit onto single carriageway which leads onto dual carriageway.  After about 3-4 miles leave A12 at second turn-off   – Signposted Framlingham B1116, Parham & Wickham Market.

 

At top of ramp turn left to roundabout.

 

Go straight over roundabout – ie 2nd exit towards Framlingham, Easton Farm Park etc.

 

After a hundred yards or so take first left  (in a bit of a dip) - signposted Easton & Earl Soham (also brown sign for Easton Farm Park).

 

Continue to T-Junction then turn right toward Easton

 

Follow this road though bends, up slight hill and then down slight hill into Easton.

 

Continue through Easton – Pub on right on sharp left-hand bend after which there is a “crinkle-crankle” wall on right – then round sharp right-hand bend.

 

Continue and then take next left as you leave Easton – sign-posted “Kettleburgh” and “Brandeston”

 

Continue on this road into Kettleburgh  (Chequers Pub on left) and out the other side

 

Continue on this road into Brandeston – down and then up slight hill into village

 

Past “Queen’s Head” Pub on right and “Pond Piece” Housing Estate next door.

 

Approx. 50 metres from Queen’s Head there is a finger post on the right attached to a telegraph pole marked “Village Hall”.  This points towards the wrought iron gates leading to the car park and Village Hall.  Turn left into car park.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Brandeston Village Hall from A14

 

From the A12 just south of Ipswich, turn left at large roundabout (Copdock) onto A14 towards Bury St Edmunds. After about 6-7 miles turn off onto the A140 towards Norwich. Follow road for about 3-4 miles then turn right in dip in rod onto A1120 towards Yoxford.

 

Follow A1120  - through Stonham Aspal, past Stonham Barns on right, through Pettaugh (watch signs carefully) and continue on this road to Earl Soham.

 

Down steep hill into Earl Soham at T-Junction – Turn right (Still A1120)

 

Note Queen Victoria pub on right and take the next right turn at large grass triangle (signposted Brandeston - no longer A1120).

 

Follow road, about 2 miles, then up hill into Brandeston.  Half way along the Street there is a finger post attached to a telegraph post on the left pointing to the entrance of the Village Hall on the right hand side of the road.

 

NB If you pass Queen’s Head Pub on left, you have gone too far along the Street.
